Carry on

Over the years,

The one thing that’s worked,

Is that I learned,

To carry burdens,

Brand new and old,

Whether burnished in gold,

Or in withering folds,

Lightly.

Now if only I could learn to carry them lasciviously, like Sid James here.

Here’s a 20 minute short on Sid James’s life I discovered today. I hadn’t noticed him as the bar man in that great british film The Small Back Room.
